My name is Adrian and I’m the founder and author woodworker at Start Woodworking Now. I have over 15 years of experience working with wood and have completed projects for both residential and commercial clients.

From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by the versatility and beauty of wood. I started learning the basics of carpentry and woodworking as a hobby in my teens and was immediately hooked.

I launched Start Woodworking Now to share my passion for the craft and help others learn woodworking skills. On this site, you’ll find woodworking guides, project plans, tool recommendations, and more. My goal is to empower people of all experience levels to start creating with wood.

When I’m not in my workshop, you’ll likely find me hiking in the woods searching for interesting tree specimens. I’m always on the lookout for unique grains, knots and textures to inspire my next project. I also enjoy teaching woodworking classes locally.
